Rene is survived by her loving husband Jefferson of 35 years.
Rene is lovingly remembered by her husband Jeff; her parents Shirley and James Nettrouer; sisters Barbara and Candi; brother Tom, daughter; Danielle, grandsons: Jeff, Danyl and Sam; her faithful companion; little dog Joey, her Aunt Ruby and Uncle Jimmy, and other relatives.
Rene enjoyed movies, gardening, camping and was an excellent crabber. You would see her in her chair at the dock with her crab pot in the water.
Rene would get up every morning to fix Jeff his breakfast and make his lunch and dote on little Joey.
The light of her life was her oldest Grandson Jeff.
No one had a better sense of humor than Rene and she would keep you laughing for hours. Rene was also a firecracker, heaven help you if you got in her way or told her what to do.
Rene was known by many names in her life, started as Rene, then her little sister called her nay nay, then she was called Mom, her husband called her Deemie and lastly Nana. No matter what name she went by, she was loved by everyone.
