Rebecca S. Siple

Rebecca Sue Siple, 69, passed away in Troutdale, OR on September 1, 2022. She was born on May 12, 1953 in Topeka, KS to Walter L. and Bernice (Medlen) Jones Jr. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1971.

Becky honored her love of history through her work at the Kansas State Historical Society before moving to Atlanta, GA in 1993. She felt fortunate to nurture her love of flowers through her work at ColorBurst in Grayson, GA.

Becky moved with her family to Portland, OR in 2005 where she fell in love with the picturesque majesty of snow-capped peaks and old growth forests.

Becky’s greatest joy in life was seeing her grandchildren explore new adventures and develop into amazing young adults.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her loving husband and high school sweetheart, Timothy J. Siple. She is survived by her son Joseph Siple and daughter Kristin McMillan; Daughter-in-Law Marie Siple; grandchildren Daylin and Braydon Siple and Aubrianna McMillan; her brothers Jeff (Barbara) and Kelly (Melissa) Jones and Sisters LuAnn Hodges and Abbie (Jeff) Flory.
