Mary Lou (Louise) Littlejohn passed away peacefully at home with family by her side. She was born July 14,1932 in Potosi, Wisconsin to Helen and John White.
She grew up with 6 brothers and 1 sister. She met the love of her life, H. Ivan Littlejohn, in January of 1951 and they were married January 28, 1952, in Potosi, Wisconsin. She and Ivan started their family right away in Chicago, Illinois with their daughter Yvonne. In 1953 they moved to Portland, Oregon where Michael and Kevin were born. In 1956 they bought their first home at 12 Mile Corner and along came Jeffrey in 1957. Her children were her life.
In 1976 Mary Lou and Ivan bought Thomas Oil Co. They worked side by side for 25 years where Mary Lou did the books, answered the phones and let Ivan think he was the boss.
She thought her life was complete until she became a grandmother in 1971. Her life grew with each grandchild. Then she became a great grandmother, and her heart was even fuller. It is sad she never got to meet her 2 great great grandchildren. Family meant everything to Mary Lou.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her mother and father, son Michael, brothers, Richard, Davey Lee, Dale, and Eugene. Brother-in-law Dennis Cardey and sister-in-law Donna White. And many other family members.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 71 years, Ivan, daughter, Yvonne, sons Kevin (Gayle) and Jeffrey (Cheryl).
