Katt was born in Sacramento, California on December 14, 1948 to Wilbert and Pearl Whitney, and was the second of ten children. Although she was born in California, Katt’s life was mostly spent in the Gresham, Oregon area.
Katt went on to have three children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren but was a role model for others as well.
Katt was a safe place for many, offering unconditional love, support and advice to those she was close with. All will miss her passion, loyalty and kindness.
