Anita was born on February 23, 1963 in Yakima, Washington and was the daughter of LeRoy and Theresa (Ruley) Dukes. She moved with her family to Portland at age 5 and attended Franklin High School. In 1997, she married Tim Green in Oregon City. They were later divorced. She worked as a cashier for Burns Brother’s Truck Stop in Portland and resided in East County for nearly 4 years.
Anita enjoyed crafts and animals.
She is survived by her children: Robert Lee of Portland, Jennifer Lee of Portland and Kristina and Kayla Green both of Washington, mother and step-father, Theresa and Donald Mosby of Portland, father, LeRoy Dukes of Yakima and brothers, Daniel Dukes of Oregon City and Michael Dukes of Yakima along with two grandchildren, Faith and Seth Granger.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Flavel Street Baptist Church. Contributions may be made in memory of Anita to the D.A.R.E. program. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
