Ronnie Dale Williams, 78, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Greenwood. He was retired from Transkrit and Whirlpool. He was a member of Burnville Baptist church and a Baptist deacon for over 30 years. Ronnie also loved the Arkansas Razorbacks, and was the State Champion at Northside High School running the mile.
Ronnie was a very special man and loved his family, from his wife and two sons to all his grandchildren He believed hard work paid off. He worked from sunrise to dusk, he loved life on the farm, from cattle to chickens and everything in between.
He was just the best and will be truly missed. We love you Ronnie. This is not goodbye, just til we meet again.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 16 at Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Ann Williams; two sons, Mark Williams and wife, Debbie and Lance Williams and wife, Sebrina, both of Greenwood; three brothers, Lindell Williams and wife, Jeanette of Fort Smith, Terry Williams and wife, Nan of Witcherville and Stephen Williams and wife, Bea of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Brad Williams, Ashely Vigus and Bayleigh Williams and five great grandchildren, Lake, Faith, Ridge, Hope and Grace.
Pallbearers will be Clifton James, Enoch Hein, Darin Williams, Kenny Shook, Derrick Pschier, Kenny McDaniel, Steve Lang and Brad Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lake Williams, Ridge Williams, David Williams, Jeff Williams, Todd Williams and Toby Williams.
