Randall Perry Black, 68, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 in his home. He was born February 21, 1956 in Huntington, Arkansas to William Homer and Marie (Elmore) Black. He was retired from Horizon Construction and was in the house building business with his brother. He was a songwriter and attended the Mansfield Assembly of God Church. He lived a rich full life.
He is survived by two sons, Ryan Black and wife, Jennifer of Van Buren and Travis Black and wife, Machelle of Greenwood; two bonus children, Tiffany Woolbright and husband, Robert of Mansfield and Eric Carlton and wife, Kiersten of Booneville; one sister, Beverly Bonds of Elm Park; seven brothers, Buddy Black and Ronnie Black of Mansfield, Chris Clopton of Midland, Kevin Clopton and Tracy Clopton of Oklahoma and Freddie Clopton and Gail Clopton of Kansas City, Missouri and twelve grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Patsy Buckner, Carolyn Smith, Shirley Gillis and Kaye Michael and his step-father, John Alvie Clopton.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, December 19 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood.
