Melinda Kaye Rogers-Snow, daughter of L.C. Snow and Dolores Means, a Springdale sun child born 1962 on the 1st of July and was taken tragically on Friday the 23rd of December 2019. Melinda is survived by her siblings, Yolanda Snow, Harlan Snow and Andrea Snow. Melinda left behind her children, Taryn Williams and son in-law, Austin Williams, her three grandchildren who were the light of her life and a mass of friends and family who loved her and were blessed with her presence.
Did you get a free haircut? If you did, that’s how Melinda liked to show her appreciation. Twenty years as a cosmetologist in Mansfield, Arkansas was her way of life but Melinda was also known to be a great yard sale finder and a free-spirited lady. Everyone who was graced with her pink cheeked smile knew it was going to be a good day even if it wasn’t. Momma was precious and sweet but most of all she was a hoot.
A memorial service will be 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 10 at Poteau Church of Christ under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas.
In honor of Melinda, if you are in a violent home or know someone in need, I plead with you to contact Arkansas Domestic Violence Hotline
