Lynn Kuhl, 90, of Hackett, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in a Fort Smith retirement home. He was a Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Following the war he was employed at American Can Company in Modesto, CA and the North American Foundry before retiring from Whirlpool Manufacturing in Fort Smith. Mr. Kuhl was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Fort Smith and attended the Rock Island Community Freewill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-one years, Opal, and a granddaughter, Shelly Fulgham.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Rock Island Community Freewill Baptist Church with interment at Mountain View Cemetery near Hackett under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Flick and husband Dieter, of the Bear Hollow Community; four sons, Jeff Kuhl and wife Michelle, of Hackett, Reggie Kuhl and wife Paula, of Fort Smith, Bradley Kuhl and wife Diane, of Hackett, and Kevin Kuhl and wife Lora, of Greenwood; two sisters, Hazel Oaks and Gudrum Nelms, both of Hemitt, CA; twelve grandchildren, Bruce Fulgham, Heather Posey and husband Bobby, Crickett Kuhl, Kaleb Kuhl and wife Molly, Ryan Kuhl, Devin Kuhl, Megan Kuhl, Breezy Kuhl, Joe Kuhl, Seanae Staggs, Ethan Kuhl, Lindsey Dugan and husband Brett, and Trevor Sullivan; and six great grandchildren.
Viewing will be Friday, May 25th from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
