Kylynn Jewell Nolan, 9, of Greenwood, Arkansas was born on August 16, 2015 and passed away November 2, 2024. She was the cherished daughter of David and Jewell Nolan and a devoted sister to Ella Nolan.
Kylynn was known for her bubbly personality and imaginative spirit. She loved playing in the mud, fishing, catching bugs and expressing her creativity through her mom’s makeup and nail painting. A true child at heart, she enjoyed making videos, watching her favorite show, Bluey, and favorite movie, The Princess Bride. Her laughter and joy were infectious, especially when playing with her sister, cousins and friends.
Throughout her young life, Kylynn achieved remarkable milestones, receiving Student of the Month honors each year and participating in the Gifted and Talented program. She was admired for her intelligence, kindness and caring nature, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew her.
Kylynn had a special bond with her pets, Emma, Honey and Little Man, who brought her much joy. She had a particular fondness for foods like potatoes, mom’s chicken drums, dad’s deer steak, pizza, only half of an apple and millions of popsicles, which she enjoyed with family and friends.
She is survived by her parents, David and Jewell Nolan; her sister, Ella Nolan; her grandparents, Karren McLeland Gentry, Ernie Nolan and Tina Nolan; her great grandmother, Nancy Fulghum, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Richard McLeland and a great grandfather, Thomas Fulghum.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m, Tuesday, November 12 at the Greenwood Performing Arts Center with burial at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Nolan, Ernie Nolan, Phill Hyatt and Whynn Hyatt.
Kylynn was a bright light in the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As a Christian, her faith was an important part of her life, and her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved her.
