Kimberly Lynn Hunt, 47, of Greenwood passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Kim was a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, cousin and a friend to so many. She loved everyone unconditionally. She was all things pure and good. Kim’s greatest joys were coloring, singing, spending time with others, going to church, shopping and enjoying a great meal. We would finish a meal and already wanted to know what she was going to have for the next one, which we all got a good laugh about together. Kim wanted everyone around her to be happy, to feel beautiful and loved and she did just that. We can not think of a sweeter soul that walked this earth than our Kim. She has forever changed all the lives she has touched and will be waiting for us all to meet her in her new heavenly home.
She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Francine Hunt; her grandparents, Martha and Eddie Hunt and Frank and Ella Baxter.
She is survived by her cousin, Amy Panis of Greenwood; her father, Kenneth Hunt of Greenwood; her brother, Joshua Hunt of Greenwood; Elnora Wheeler of Huntington, who she lovingly called Grandma; four nephews and nieces and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins that she all loved dearly.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 29 at Arkoma Assembly of God Church with burial to follow at Old Jenny Lind Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will be Friday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be her brother Joshua Hunt; uncles Dearl, Garry and Bill Hunt; cousins, Kobe Panis and Billy Wayne Hunt. Honorary pallbearer will be John Castle.
