JW Stafford, 84, of Magazine, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Paris. He was born July 20, 1940 in Charleston, Arkansas to Ruben Joseph and Blanche Pauline (Law) Stafford. He worked for Stark Mfg., Wagoner Brothers and helped his son at Jerry’s Machine Shop. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, tractors and growing his watermelons.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Stafford; one son, Jerry Wayne Stafford and wife, Holly of Magazine; three grandchildren, Colter Stafford (Meagan), Kelley Taylor and Harlie Fondren and three great grandchildren, Cole Stafford, Priscilla Gray and Daniel Elmore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Wade Stafford and a sister, Barbara Ann Nichols.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date. Inurnment will be at Ellington Cemetery in Magazine. Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
