June Marie Lewis

June Marie Lewis, 82, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 in Greenwood. She was born September 5, 1942 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She enjoyed crochet and making arts and crafts. She was retired from Baldor, member of XI Sigma of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a member of Denver Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Nelson of Tulsa and Carol Reano and husband, Mike of Huntington; one son, Rich McMahan and wife, Stacy of Lavaca; seven grandchildren, Chayla Witherspoon and husband, Reed, Connor Nelson and wife, Bryanna, Clayton Reano and wife, Brittney, Erin Harris and husband, Ethan, Ryan McMahan and wife, Alicen, Corey Brown and Daniel Brown and eight great grandchildren, Lynnden and Cade Reano, Layton and Kylan McMahan, Journey, Greyson, Jameson and Jackson Brown and another one on the way, Harper Harris. June was preceded in death by her husband, Don Lewis; her parents, John Robert Killion and Marie and Harvey Jones; a son-in-law, Dan Nelson and one sister, Vera Mae Whittaker.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, September 14 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Washburn Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Ryan McMahan, Connor Nelson, Clayton Reano, Ethan Harris, Rich McMahan and Mike Reano.
