Johnny Pyle, 61, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 in a Fort Smith hospital. Originally from Texarkana, Texas, he worked with his father in the construction business and owned Eagle’s Nest Archery. Johnny moved to Fort Smith in 1990 to work with his high school friend, Rick Sisco, in the health insurance business.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Family visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, October 29th at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Gail of the home; a son, John Thomas Pyle IV and wife Abby of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter, Rhondine Horton and husband Scott of McCrory, AR; a sister, Sue Sharrer and husband Johnny of Queen City, TX; three grandchildren, Bella Marie Pyle, D.J. Horton and Anna Kate Horton; best friends Wayne and Sharon Peerson of Pocola, OK; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be; Wayne Peerson, Gary Young, Brandon Young, Nicholas Young, Kevin Edwards and Scott Horton.
