Irene Pitchford, 89, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and member of Hartford First Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Kralicek of Fort Smith, Alisia Henson and husband, Shawn also of Fort Smith and Nancy Mixon of Hartford; one brother, J. Lavern Pickle and wife, Anita of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, Randa Russell, Garrett Mixon, Kayla Kamp and husband, John and McKale Scallions and wife, Alexandra and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Ronald Pitchford and two brothers, Leroy and Kennith Pickle.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 17 at Hartford Memorial Park in Hartford, Arkansas under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Henson, Garrett Mixon, McKale Scallions, John Kamp, Ted Pickle and Lavern Pickle.
