Daniel Ray Boyles, 19, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. He graduated from Hackett High School in May 2018 and was a beloved member of the Hackett Hornet football team. Daniel was adopted in love, a special child of God that we had the pleasure to call our own for nineteen wonderful years. Daniel did not let Autism/M.R. define his life. He liked making bracelets, collecting cool rocks and his two stuffed rabbits, Rabbit and Ray. He loved football and cherished being a Hornet. He also loved his friends, coaches, teachers and everyone he met. He will be missed more than words can express and more than our hearts can fathom. Heaven has certainly gained a special new angel.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Kevin and Kim Henry; brothers, Michael Henry and Daron Boyles; sister, Taylor Boyles; father, Robert Boyles and wife, Gwyn; grandparents, Billy and Ruth Petty; great grandmother, Sue “Mama Sue” Petty, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 20 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood. A visitation will be held Monday at the funeral home from 5 – 7 p.m.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, family and friends give to the Go Fund Me Page that has been set up in Daniel’s memory to help the family. GoFundMe.com/In-Loving-Memory-Of-Daniel-Boyles.
