Betty Sue Cabe, 83, of Witcherville, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 in her home. She was born June 25, 1941 in Keota, Oklahoma to Houston and Lucille (Peevy) McElroy. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, member of the APWU, member of Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind and she was a Sunday School teacher for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Cabe; one son, Mitchell Todd Cabe and wife, Karen of Witcherville; one daughter, Susan Dunn and husband, Wade of Greenwood; one sister, Helen Stowers and husband, Roy of Denison, Texas; two grandchildren, Dustin Dunn and wife, Dominique and Heather Trotter and husband, Seth and four great grandchildren, John Paul Dunn, Andrew Tibbits, Krew Trotter and Kolbi Trotter. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much and was very proud of them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Dillard.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, December 27 at Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind with burial at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Dunn, Seth Trotter, Andrew Tibbits, Cyril Cabe, Greg Cabe and Jeff Cabe. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Mickle, Paul Rush, Billy Crider, Don Nelms, Wade Dunn, James Boyce, Cecil Cabe and Bob Harkreader.
