Born in Port Chester, NY, to Michael Angelo Tigani and Rose Marie Licare, Ernie attended the Harrison Public Schools. He retired from the Town of Rye Brook, where he worked at the Rye Brook Senior Center, and also served as a Town of Rye Constable and Justice Court Marshall.
Ernie was devoted to his daughters, doing everything he could to protect and support them. He cherished his grandson, Lucas, and eagerly anticipated the arrival of his new granddaughter, Bianca.
In his spare time, Ernie enjoyed running his food truck, cooking, and spending time with family. Known for his humor and laughter, he was a lovable prankster who could talk for hours. Many referred to him as "Spanky," a nickname he earned in his teenage years for resembling Spanky from *The Little Rascals*. Ernie was a member of the Knights of Columbus and member of the former Port Chester Auxiliary Police and dedicated 45 years to volunteering with the Port Chester Fire Department. He was always busy and on the go.
Ernie is survived by his wife, Pamela Tigani (Toscano); his daughters, Crystal McNabb, Alyssa Tigani, and Breanne Tigani; his grandson, Lucas Molleturo; and his granddaughter on the way, Bianca Brown. He is also survived by his siblings, Georgia Masciola (John), Michael Tigani (Maria), and Christopher Tigani (Teri), along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael Angelo Tigani and Rose Marie Licare.
