Born in Seoul, South Korea, he was the son of Bong Rae and Chol Hong Park.
He was South Korea’s first fashion designer and continued his career in the United States as a custom tailor—pursuing his goals and fine tuning his craft which resulted in a list of prominent clients that remained loyal to him until his retirement.
He had a philosophical approach to life — to always stay modest and never compromise on one’s integrity. He enjoyed playing golf and spent hours and hours of the day tending to his garden.
He is survived by Jung Ja Park, children Joomi and Joon-Ho. Grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Imbum, Hayden and Henry.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday October 26, 2024 at 11 AM at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch St, Greenwich, CT 06830.
