William "Bill" Morrow Jr.

William Francis Morrow, Jr. passed away on July 23, 2016. Bill was born in Greenville County, South Carolina on August 27, 1937. He was the son of William Francis Morrow, Sr. and Frances Pearce Morrow. Bill always had a very special loving spirit for everyone, and especially his family. He attended Greenville High School Class of 1955 and Clemson University. In his youth years, he attended Pendleton Street Baptist Church and is now a member of Riverside Baptist in Greer, South Carolina. Bill is survived by his wife Carol Elizabeth Girardeau Morrow; three sons: William Randall Morrow, Mary Oyen Morrow, of Sturgeon Bay, WI, David Pearce Morrow, Jamie Brandon Morrow, of Anderson, SC and Brian Keith Morrow of Bethune, SC; four granddaughters: Lauren Mackenzie Morrow, Chloe Elizabeth Morrow, Gracie Ann Morrow, and Brice Palmateer. He especially loved his granddaughters. Brother, Robert H. Morrow, Helen of Spartanburg, SC.

After thirty years of service, Bill retired from Textile/Dow Brands in sales of several different markets in seven states. For many years he spent winter weekends with the Clemson football teams and also enjoyed golf outings with the Golden Boys of Pebble Creek.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Woodlawn Funeral Home at 3:00 pm with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, SC. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon Street, Greenville, SC 29601.

Bill had many friends that he loved and they loved him. They always had a place in his heart and a smile on his face as he visited the people on his Meals on Wheels Taylors route for over 18 years.
