Tina Jo Parkins, 63, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Lt. Col. James Allen and Betty Jo Oliver Parkins. Tina was a member of St. John Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She loved music, and playing the guitar. Tina also had a love for gardening and animals. In 2000, she generously donated a kidney to her sister, Jamie.

Tina is survived by her sister, Jamie Brilliant and her husband Harvey P. Brilliant, MD; one niece, Sonya Parkins; one great-nephew, Skyler Parkins; and her best friend, Sharen Everett.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Parkins.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
