She was a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Downey Chapter 275. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Lee was huge dog lover and enjoyed reading.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Jason Matthew Simmons. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Gary W. Simmons; a daughter, Rebecca Lee Simmons; a son, Brian Richard Simmons (Danielle); 2 sisters, Lynn Denton (Greg) and Lisa Miller (Tom); 1 brother, William Richard Williams, Jr. (Chris); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Lee’s life will be held at 3pm Sunday, June 26, 2016 in the Chapel of The Mackey Mortuary with Rev. Peter Spink officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 1664 Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
