Born in Monks Corner, SC, on February 4, 1939, the daughter of Thomas Aiken Wall and Kathleen Law. She retired from Jacobs Engineering and formerly worked for J. E. Sirrine Co.
She faithfully served her Savior, Jesus Christ, at White Oak Baptist Church in Greenville, where she was a member for over six decades, and for many years, served as Director of Music. She was a graduate of Furman University and a life-member of the Greenville Chorale (50 years), where she loved to “sing for Bing.”
She is survived by her husband, J. Larry Loftis, of the home, as well as brothers Thomas Aiken Wall, Jr. (Tammy) of Mauldin, SC, and Victor Wall (Linda) of Apopka, FL.
She was predeceased by a brother, William W. Wall, of Monks Corner.
Larry and Mary enjoyed annual holiday train trips to Washington, DC, where they reveled in Christmas music at the Kennedy Center, St. John’s Church, and the National Cathedral.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM, on Sunday, February 13, at White Oak Baptist Church, following a visitation in the sanctuary from 2–3:00 PM.
