Martha grew up in California and was a teacher for 40 years. She taught at college, high school and elementary levels; kindergarten was her favorite, as she loved to see their eyes light up when they learned to read.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 Years Orlando F. Kliewer and her nine siblings.
She is survived by her sons: Mark (Judy) Kliewer of Taylors, SC, James (Heather) of Greenville SC and a daughter, Dianne (Sid) Hagen of Piedmont, SC; grandchildren: Benjamin (Emily) Hagen, Jeremiah Hagen, Nathaniel (Sarah) Hagen, Sabrina, Saige, Alyssa, Cassie, Anna Grace; great-grandchildren: Carson, Kennedy and Conor; also surviving is a brother George Isaak of Redlands, CA.
A visitation for Martha will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609 followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. A committal service will occur at Woodlawn Memorial Park following the service.
