Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of Haskell D. Mallory and Dianne Schmauch. Lori is remembered by her friends and family for her kind heart, loyalty to those she loved, and boundless love for animals. Her goal was to work with those suffering from addiction. Her perseverance and spirit will always be cherished by those who love her.
In addition to her parents, Lori is survived by a daughter, Morgan Ballard; one grandson, James Fowler; one sister, Kim Cooper (Dwayne); one niece, Campbell; her step-father, Joe Schmauch; her loving companion, Randy Morton; numerous loving aunts, cousins, and other extended family members; and her beloved fur babies, Sanchez and Baby-Kitty.
The family will receive friends at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1100 Log Shoals Road, Mauldin, SC 29662 on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 2:00pm until 2:45pm. A memorial service will follow in the church sanctuary at 3:00pm.
