Joyce B. Rowe

Born in Canton, NC, Joyce was the daughter of the late Gordon L. and M. Sue Melton Branson. She was the beloved wife of Richard B. Rowe, with whom she shared 68 joyful years.

Joyce was the cherished matriarch of her family -a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She dedicated her life to her loved ones and was a constant source of strength and guidance. She was especially devoted to her son, Richard "Dick" Rowe, who resided with her and Richard.

A woman of deep faith, Joyce loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was an active member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church, where her faith inspired those around her. Joyce also enjoyed an active lifestyle and cherished her time at the family's lake house, where she created countless memories with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Richard B. Rowe; her children: son, Richard "Dick" Rowe of the home, daughters Donna Rowe Taylor (Kevin) and Kristi Rowe Luffman (Brandon). She was also blessed with grandchildren: Katie Cannada (Keith), Carrie Chambers, Ansleigh Luffman, Parker Luffman, William Taylor (Kate) and Logan Taylor; and six great-grandchildren: Griffin and Miller Cannada, Cooper and Brady Chambers, and Haven and Alton Taylor. She is also survived by her sister, Judy B. Nelson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Graceland East Memorial Park, 2205 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
