Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late John Daniel and Louise Davis Welborn.
Mrs. Fleming was retired as Office Manager with 30 year's service from Meyers Arnold Department Store in Greenville. She was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church where she was a member of the Homeward Bound Sunday School Class. Helen will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and as a doting grandmother and excellent cook.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edgar Fleming, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Jamie Livingston; brother, Dan Welborn (Pat); sisters, Robbie Badger (Hugh), Doris Pearce, Mary Barnwell (Lee); and grandsons, Chase Livingston (Jacinta), and Christian Livingston.
Mrs. Fleming is at The Mackey Mortuary where the family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30pm until 1:45pm with the funeral service to follow at 2:00pm in the chapel.
Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
