Gene leaves behind his wife, Chyquitia Fortner Hall, son, Orion Eugene Hall (Jessica), daughter, Rhiannon Rose Hall, stepson, Kristofer Colin Fortner, stepdaughter, Jocelyn Fortner Hoover (Arthur “Bo”), and six grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by brother, Charles (Charlie) Cramer Sink, and sister, Leah Hall Roueche; and stepmother, Novella Rose Hall.
Along with his parents, Gene was predeceased by his brothers, Larry Eugene Sink, James Clinton Sink, and Joseph Camp Sink, stepfather, James Franklin Hall,
A memorial service for Gene will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
