Ed was a mechanical engineer for over 50 years in which he received many awards including but not limited to ISPE Life Science awards. He was a member of the SC Professional Engineer, Republican National Committee as well as NRA. He was well loved and respected by his coworkers and loved by his family and friends. He loved doing projects around the house; he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ first and foremost and he loved his country and those who served. He loved and would do anything for his family.
Ed is survived by his daughter Lisa S. King (Jeff); his son Edward "Chuck" E. Lancaster III; his daughter Sara "Beth" Elizabeth Clunan; his daughter Mary "Leslie" Armstrong and his step-daughter Coley Raycraft and her family; his brother Barry Lancaster and his brother Charles Lancaster; his grandchildren Daniel Clunan (Katelynn), Alan King (Sarah), Kara King (Tyler Chamberlain), Olivia Fitz (Roger Hawkins), Kingston Armstrong, Erin Armstrong, Edward Eli Lancaster IV, and Mary Lancaster; his great grandchildren Alex Hawkins, Mary Elizabeth Clunan, Charlee Clunan and Vivian Alice Hawkins due in January 2023. Ed also leaves behind an abundance of extended family to cherish his memory.
Ed was preceded in death by his first wife Alice Moore Lancaster; his second wife Dorothy Anne Lancaster; his parents and his brother John Lancaster.
A funeral service for Ed will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm, Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at Graceland East Memorial Park, 2206 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC.
