She leaves behind her sister, Joyce Bennett Holland, her two daughters, Andie Hupp and Christine Lindquist, and her five adoring grandchildren, Madeline Hupp, Carter Hupp, Caroline Jenkins, Linden Hupp, and Bennett Jenkins.
Diane received her bachelor's degree from State University of New York College at Oneonta. She taught English for several years, raised her two daughters, and had a second career later in life as a social science researcher. Throughout her life, she expressed herself through art and was accomplished in pottery, photography, and painting, which became one of her passions later in life. Diane also enjoyed hiking, gardening, golf, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of The Mackey Mortuary with a reception immediately following in the Mackey Reception Center.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations to St. Francis Health System in Greenville, SC or the American Cancer Society.
