Cedric Bernard Oglesby

Born in Greenville, SC, his parents are (the late) Doris Rodgert of Greenville, SC; Tab Holmes of Traveler’s Rest, SC; and Ver Kenneth Kirksey of Anderson, SC.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Oglesby. He has a son Andre Oglesby of Dalton, GA, and 3 daughters, Kristie Foster (Jerald) of Simpsonville, SC, Tracy Shelton (Kevin) of Mauldin SC, and Tina Henderson of Greenville, SC; 1 grandchild of the home, Adrian Henderson; 8 additional grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 5 brothers, Ricky Oglesby (Angela) of Piedmont, SC, Kenneth Oglesby of Greenville, SC, Charles Kirksey (Patricia) of Greenville, SC, Andre Glenn (Winnfired) Chattanooga, TN, and Kenneth Burns (Carmel) of Piedmont, SC; and 3 sisters Veronda Kirksey of Piedmont, SC, (the late) Equilla Tolbert and (the late) LaVonda "Neen" Archie. He also leaves to mourn his passing 1 aunt Vicky Oglesby of Greenville, SC and a host of nieces and nephews, in-laws, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 12 pm on December 31, 2016 at Mackey Mortuary located at 311 Century Dr, Greenville, SC. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm, also at Mackey Mortuary.
