Catherine Ann Jeter

Catherine Ann Jordan Jeter, 72, of Greenville, passed away at home surrounded by her family on September 30, 2017. She was the daughter of the late C. G. and Thelma Jordan of Greenville, and the step-daughter of the late Bob Wood of Greenville.

Catherine Ann’s pride and joy was her husband, children, family, and friends. She was a strong woman who fought a courageous twelve-year battle with breast cancer, leukemia, and bone cancer. Catherine Ann’s love was her second home at South Litchfield Beach. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Greenville.

Catherine Ann is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jimmy Jeter of Greenville; her children, Scott Jordan Jeter and his wife Diane Hawkins Jeter, Gregory Huntington Jeter and his wife Jill Paige Jeter, and James Bradley Jeter and his wife Leanne Cowart Jeter, all of Greenville; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Diane Jeter, Caroline Jordan Jeter, Jordin Paige Phoenix, Blake Huntington Jeter, Hunter Conrad Jeter, AnnMarie Jeter, Coleman Bradley Jeter; two brothers, Jack Grandy Jordan and his wife Dianne Jordan, and Gary Lee Jordan and his wife Frances McCall Jordan; many loved nieces and nephews; and Kasey, her and Jimmy’s beloved golden retriever.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd at 3pm in the Carpenter Chapel at First Baptist Greenville, 847 Cleveland Street, with Rev. Jim Dant and Rev. Kendra Plating officiating. The family will receive friends in the prayer room before the service from 1:30-2:45pm. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
