Anne Ragonetti, age 93, of Piedmont, wife of the late John L. Ragonetti, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2019 in the home of her granddaughter, Georgia.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Carmela Saracino. Anne spent her early life working with her family in the garment district of New York City. She also lived in Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and finally South Carolina. Anne enjoyed cooking, reading, and especially spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of Grace Bible Church in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. She will be remembered warmly by her immeasurable love for everyone she encountered, her commitment to family, and her gentle sense of humor.
Surviving are her children, Marian Cantley (Joe) of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania and Louis Ragonetti (Beth) of Haddock, Georgia; one brother, Gaudino Saracino of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren, John Cantley (Allie) of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Georgia Ragonetti-Zebell (John) of Piedmont, South Carolina, Meg Burkey (Chris) of Bridgeport, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth DeCrema of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Philip DeCrema of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania; and seven great grandsons: Nate, Parker, Beckett, Sawyer, John, Charlie, and Will; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Anne is preceded in death by her beloved sister and best friend, Marie “Josie” DePalma.
A memorial service to celebrate Anne’s life will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.
