Martha was born April 17, 1929 in Greenville, the daughter of the late Lewis & Goldie (Hines) Arnett. In addition to her parents Martha was preceded in death by her husband: Grant E. “Gene” Riegle; her daughter: Linda S. Zumbrun; her son in law: Richard W. Huff; her sister & brother in law: Betty & Dwayne Rolfe; her brother & sister in law: Willard & Pat Arnett; her sister in law: Clara Arnett.
Martha was a member of EUM Church; she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother spending time with her family & having wonderful family gatherings. She was an owner & avid harness horse fan.
She loved flowers and had the amazing gift of music being able to play the organ and piano by ear. She was the first woman to win the prestigious “Lady Pace” Trophy in Delaware, Ohio.
Martha is survived by her sons & daughters in law: Alan & Linda Riegle, of Greenville, Bruce & Diana Riegle of Washington, PA.; her daughter: Tami Huff of Greenville; son in law: Tracy Zumbrun of Greenville; grandchildren: Cary Riegle of Greenville, Nicole & Aaron Lewis of Beavercreek, Ohio, Chris & Heather Bright of Dayton, Ohio, Laura & Sean Benson of Chandler, Arizona, Chad & Ann Claire Riegle of Lexington, Kentucky, Taylor Riegle of Washington, PA., Travis Huff of Los Angeles, CA., Trent & Lori Huff of Columbus, Ohio; great grandchildren: Grant Riegle, Hunter Benson, Adrianna Lewis, Rachel & Tyler Huff; brother: Andy Arnett of Greenville; sisters & brothers in law: Charlene & Roger Black of San Rafael, CA., Wanda & Don Bolyard of Greenville; numerous nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday August 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson, Ohio. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to EUM Church.
