Jody Lee Pipenger

Jody Lee “Big Papaw” Pipenger, 55 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday August 10, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Jody was born November 30, 1967 in Greenville, Ohio, the son of Wayne Pipenger and The late, Diana (Drake) Thobe of Ansonia.

Jody was a construction worker, He enjoyed fishing, watching football, working on cars and gaming. He most enjoyed spending time with his family. His grandchildren lovingly called him, “Big Papaw”, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Jody is preceded in death by his mother; his stepmother, Carol Pipenger, his grandparents, Linn and Frances Drake and Chancey and Leona Pipenger

Jody is survived by his children, Danielle Pipenger and fiancée Zeke Luna of Troy, Ohio and Christopher and Brittany Pipenger also of Troy. Father, Wayne Pipenger of Greenville ; his step father, Ron Thobe of Ansonia. his grandchildren, Jayden, Riley, Blayde, Lillian, Kailynn, Margaret, EZekiel Jr., and Ethan; his brother and sister in law, Dean and Sherry Pipenger; his sister Naiesha Thobe; his step brothers, Matthew Lacey, Brian Lacey, Christopher Lacey, and Bill Lacey; his nephew, Chancey and Shy Pipenger; his niece, Paisley, and his great aunt, Aline Harmon.

A celebration of Jody’s life will be held on Monday August 28, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Brock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
