Fay E. Smith, age 73 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday February 5, 2012 at 2:27 PM at her residence. She was born September 15, 1938 in Greenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Emerson & Minerva (Fashner) McNutt. She was homemaker and also worked for GTS. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, & the Women of the Moose.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband: Boone Smith, Daughter: Minerva Smith; Sisters: Frances Ruth Sutton, Janet Bunger, Mary Clark.

She is survived by her children & spouses: Ruth & Marty Harrison of New Carlisle, Ohio, Carol & Trace Archer of St. Mary’s, Ohio, Mary & Joe Smith of Greenville, Doris Smith of Greenville, Fred Smith of Greenville, Linda & Jeff Judy of Jackson Center, Ohio, Dan & Jamie Smith of Greenville, Don & Emily Smith of Greenville; grandchildren: Nicole & Rob Rebmann, Dusty & Marry Ann Smith, Stacey Smith, Sean Judy, Shane Judy, Brittany Smith, Cory Judy, Tyler Smith, Kelsi Smith, Macey Smith, Matt Smith, Noah Smith, Preston Smith & Jason Spitler; Great Grandchildren: Brandy & Kyle Rebmann, Abby & Savannah Smith, Landon & Carson Smith, Dalton Cockerhan, Kaden Smith; Brother: Raymond McNutt of Greenville; Sister: Sarah Frantz of Quilcene, Washington.

Services will be held on Thursday February 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Tony Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday February 8, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Make A Wish Foundation through the American Legion.
