Emily Jo Moody, 42, of Ansonia, OH, passed away Friday, January 17, at 3:57 a.m. at Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Harry J. Moody and maternal grandparents William and Rita (Gas) Brown.
Emily was born on Wednesday, January 11, 1978 in Greenville, OH, a daughter of Tom and Cindy (Brown) Moody, of Rossburg, OH.
She was a graduate of Ansonia High School, class of 1996. Emily was a stay-at-home mom who cared for everyone including her high school sweetheart/husband, her eight children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was dedicated and supportive of her children's activities no matter what the circumstances were. Emily was selfless, kind hearted, and had a contagious laugh/smile. She was the most amazing wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, and aunt. She gave everyone guidance and taught her family the meaning of life. Her family motivated her to be brave, to fight, and to never give up hope. Words from her Husband, “She was a super mom. She was always faithful and an honest person. She was the greatest women I knew.”
Emily is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jason Stover Sr. of Ansonia. Her daughters and son-in-laws, Monica (Eric) Beisner of Greenville, Madison (Roberto) Sanchez of Union City, Makayla Stover of Ansonia; her sons, Jason Jr., Kaden, Kolton, Karson, and Kyler Stover of Ansonia; grandchildren, Eli, Ayden Beisner, and Baby Beisner on the way, Bentley, Liam, and Peyton sanchez; her sister and brother-in-law, Mindy (Randy) Ward of Ansonia; her brother, Clark Moody of Rossburg; and her paternal grandma, June (Matthieu) Moody of Rossburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of Emily’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, 1499 North Broadway Greenville, Ohio 45331. Burial will follow at the Old Teegarden Cemetery, Ansonia, OH.
Family and friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
