Edna “Sue” Allen, 84 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday June 2, 2024 at her residence. Sue was born August 24, 1939 in Stonega, Virginia, the daughter of the late John Wesley and Nan (Wilson) Lowe.
Sue worked for Montgomery County as a maintenance worker. She was a Red Hatter, avid quilter, and loved to read.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J.T. Allen; her daughter, Nancy Lynn Gould; her siblings, Eugene Talmadge Lowe, Arlene Smith, Ronald Lowe, and Judith Collier.
Sue is survived by her children and spouses, Wesley and Rene Isaacs, Curtis and Teresa Isaacs, Rhonda Gillium, and William and Mary Brown; 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday June 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Darrell Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
