Betty Louise Pitman

Betty Louise Pitman, age 77 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 4:45 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the Village Green Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. Born in Darke County, Ohio on June 13, 1944 she was a daughter to the late Roscoe & Naomi (Fisher) Bowman. Betty had worked for FRAM Corp. for many years in Greenville. She enjoyed going to garage sales, scrapbooking with her sister, playing cards and bingo and watching Lifetime movies. Betty loved to listen to Elvis Presley and was a huge fan of any and everything Elvis. More than anything, she loved to spend time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Frank Pitman of 57 years: brother Danny Bowman.

Survived by her sons Terry (Kellie) Pitman of Michigan; Thomas (Roslyn) Pitman of Arcanum; Todd (Holly) Pitman of Piqua: 18 grandchildren: 18 great-grandchildren: sister Jane (Jack) Garwood: life-long friend Peggy Garwood.

Friends may call on the family on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Funeral service to follow at 11 AM with Pastor Shane Thomas presiding. Burial at Greenville Union Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio.
