Barbara Rose Hunt Price

Barbara was born May 22, 1937 in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late John W. and

Virgie (Ashman) Hunt. Barbara was a lifelong farmer and was a school bus driver for 35 years and a

member of the Tri-Village Rescue Squad.

She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, raising various types of livestock, and she loved animals,

especially her boxer Blue. She also was known to be a great cook.

But most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in

death by her parents John and Virgie Hunt, her husband, Willard “Kendall” Price whom she married May

27, 1978 and her stepson, Michael Price.

Barbara is survived by her sons, daughter in laws, and step daughter. Roger and Denise Stahl of Greenville, Rocky and Dana Stahl of Greenville; her stepdaughter Shelly Price, ; her grandchildren, Jeremy Stahl, Kyle and Jessica (Warrick) Stahl , Derek and Kaley (Stahl) Preston , and Tucker and Taylor (Dubbs) Stahl; her great grandchildren, Waylon Stahl, Hunter Stahl, Sawyer, Sadie and Sloane Preston, Tarver Stahl, and Rutley Stahl; and her sister, Betty Fox of Greenville.

Services will be held on Thursday February 9, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral

Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from

5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday February 8, 2023 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions
