Thomas Rae Phillips

Thomas Rae Phillips, 64 of Greensburg passed away on November 8, 2024. He was born on August 9, 1960 in Greensburg the son of Herbert and Mary Foley Phillips. Tom was a 1978 graduate of Greensburg Community High School and a graduate of Purdue University. He married Kathryn (Kathy) Lynne Ketchum on June 24, 1988 and together they had two daughters, Alexis and Deanna. Tom worked at BCA for 17 years and was a Senior Engineer for FANUC America for 27 years. He attended the First Christian Church, Shelbyville Christian Fellowship and the Greensburg Community of the Nazarene. Survivors include: wife, Kathryn (Kathy) Phillips; daughters, Alexis (Ian) Robertson and Deanna (Jason) McNulty; grandsons, Owen Robertson and Bentley McNulty; granddaughter, Guin Robertson; nephews, Codey Streevel, Wesley Quinton, Johnathan Ketchum, Jared Ketchum; nieces, Cassie Anderson, Felicia Templeton, Mary Young, Morgan Young; several great nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Leisa Phillips Streevel. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the funeral home 11:00 am and will be broadcast live on the Gilliland-Howe Facebook Page. Rev. Perry Cook will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Rossburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Community Church of the Nazarene and Greensburg Meals on Wheels.
