Rayburn Ray Hatton

Rayburn “Ray” Hatton 70 of Greensburg, IN. passed away Sunday August 19, 2012 at his home. He was born December 17, 1941 in Owen, KY., the son of Olney and Nannie (Rogers) Hatton. He had served in the U.S. Air Force. He had received his Bachelors Degree from IUPUI. He retired from Delta Faucet in 2004. He was the owner of Hatton Tree and Berry Farm; he was a member of the Clarksburg Christian Church, and the Tree City Squares Dance Club. He married Linda (Peters) Hatton on November 14, 1964 at the Buena Vista Christian Church and she survives at the home. Other survivors include one Daughter: Stacey (John) Beauchamp of Columbus, IN.; two Sons: Barry (Tracie) Hatton of Greensburg, IN.; and Drew Hatton of Minneapolis, MN.; three Sisters: Virgie Buell, Frieda (Larry) McCreary and Sue Ricke all of Greensburg, IN.; two Brothers: Mayburn (Linda) Hatton of Middleton, OH.; and Junior (Ann) Hatton of Morrowville, KS. Eight Grandchildren also survive: Carly, Brett, Luke, and Ava Hatton; Tyler, Tate, Emma, and Piper Beauchamp. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Joyce Green, Lois Hatton, and Wanda Emsweller; two Brothers: Edward, and Bill Hatton. Friends may call on Wednesday August 22, 2012 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 23, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home with Reverend Jerran Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery.
