Mary Helen Ryle, 88, of Greensburg passed away on July 19, 2021 at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born on June 30, 1933, the daughter of Frank and Mary Dilkes. She lived her entire life in Greensburg, attending the schools and graduating with the class of 1951. She worked at the Farmer Morris 5, 10, and $1.00 store on the Square and was also employed with Bohn Aluminum. On June 20, 1958 she married Robert L. Ryle, he preceded her in death on June 13, 2006. They were married 47 years. Together, they traveled extensively to many places of interest in the South and West, also visiting Israel, Paris, France, Athens, Greece, Turkey, and crossing the Bosporus into Asia Minor. They visited five of the Greek Islands, four Hawaiian and Four Caribbean Islands. She enjoyed reading, working 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles and working with her flowers but she admitted that she never had much luck with the flowers.
She is survived by: Niece, Vicki (Greg) Rudolf and Nephew, Gregg Nelson of Greensburg; Sister, Coreen (Robert) McChesney; Niece, Belinda (Richard) Lujan; Great Nephew, Jeremy Lujan all of Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; Sister and Brother in Law, Noreen and Don Nelson.
A Graveside service for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at the South Park Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Associate Pastor Darren Covington will be officiating.
