Wesley "Wes" Ross Craver

Wesley “Wes” Ross Craver, 41, a resident of Jamestown, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

A Celebration of Life for Wes will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 in the Christian Life Center of the Jamestown Presbyterian Church in Jamestown, NC. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service in the CLC. For those unable to attend, the service will be streamed at jamestownprez.org.

Born April 29, 1980 in Greensboro, NC, Wes was the son of Robert Pence Craver and Janet Love Lee Craver. He graduated from Southwest Guilford High School in 1998 and Western Carolina University in 2003. He was a lifelong member of Jamestown Presbyterian Church.

Wes is survived by his parents, Robert “Bob” and Janet Craver of Jamestown, NC; his maternal grandmother, Effie Williams; his uncle, Bill Lee (Judy); his aunt, Sarah Lee; and cousins, Sarah Bayle, Beth Rittle, Heather Lee, and Courtney Lee. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Lee, his paternal grandparents, Robert and Rebecca Craver; and paternal uncle and aunt, Pat and Rebecca Craver Haynes.

Wes will be remembered for his infectious smile which lit up a room when he entered. He loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. As a lover of the great outdoors, he saw God’s work in the beauty of nature. There was a gentleness and sincerity that marked everything he did.
