Susan was born in Richmond, VA on March 16, 1947, the daughter of Leonard Marius Bolin Jr. and Jeanne Timberlake Bolin. She worked with Southern Bell for over 30 years until her retirement. Susan was awarded the J.D. Powers Award for Outstanding Service. Following her retirement, she then worked with RSVP for six years.
Susan loved music and made it a special part of her life. She attended Woodstock, and traveled throughtout the country. She was fascinated by the beauty of this country. She was the older sister who looked after her siblings, involving them and including them in her activities. She was a loving wife and best friend to her husband Mark, who also shared her passion for music. Her family was always first in her life. She loved them dearly.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Mark Anthony Wrenn, Sr.; step-son, Mark Anthony Wrenn, Jr.; sister, Linda Cardwell and husband Bobby; brothers; Robert Bolin and wife Ruthie and Scott Bolin, all of Greensboro, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
