Shanna Michelle Ball Lineback, 49, a resident of Jamestown passed away on Monday August 24, 2020. She was born in Greensboro on November 19, 1970, the daughter of Jerry Gene and Barbara Townsend Ball.
She was a member of the graduating class of 1989 at Ragsdale High School and received her degree in nursing from Guilford Community Technical College. For 17 years she worked as a registered nurse with Cone Health Care.
Shanna was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Keith McKay of the home; her son, Chandler Knight Lineback of Jamestown; her mother and step-father, Barbara and Don Angel of Greensboro; brothers, Jerry Steven Ball of Wilmington and Troy Dereck Ball and his wife Jennifer of Sedgefield and the father of her child, Michael Dwayne Lineback of Jamestown.
The family will receive friends at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Private family graveside services will be held at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
Any memorials may be made in Shanna’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
