Ruth E. Francis

Ruth E. Francis, 85, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Clapp’s Nursing Center. Ruth was born in Brewton, AL on February 21, 1929. She met the love of her life in Pensacola, FL where he was stationed with the Navy. They later moved to Greensboro following his military service. She worked at the Revolution Plant of Cone Mills. Ruth loved spending time with her family and traveling. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Francis in 2005 and her daughter, Alisse Saddler. The left to cherish her memory are her five sons; Calvin Francis and wife Paula, Billy Francis and wife Kristi, Ron Francis and wife Jean, Floyd Francis and wife Linda and Wayne Francis and wife Pam; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
