Robert Allen Berryhill, also known as Bob, passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 91 in High Point, North Carolina. He was born on October 29, 1931 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle.
Bob was a textile air conditioning engineer by profession. He had patents for True Point Control Systems to hold exact temperature and humidity in a room while knitting was taking place, along with several others as well.
He was a longtime member of the Baha’i Faith and will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, and his unwavering commitment to his family and community was an inspiration to all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Berryhill, his sons Samuel and Benjamin and his stepdaughter, Mahin, his brothers Edwin, James, and Ronnie, his nieces Joelyn Shugart and Sharon Williams, LuAnne Lester, Karen McAleese and Robin Riojas and nephews, Berry Sams, Bobby Bryant, Ricky Davis and Al Sams and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Jeanette Bryant and Marilyn Sams and his first wife Betty Berryhill. Bob's memory will live on through his family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Rd., Greensboro, North Carolina
