Patricia Glenn died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Tricia was the daughter of Robert (Goethals) Glenn and Ethel (Chappell) Glenn, born May 19, 1952, in Dallas, TX. In 1971 she moved with her family to Greensboro, where she lived for the rest of her life. She worked many years in personal care, assisting elderly persons in their homes and at WhiteStone. She was a longtime member of West Market Street United Methodist Church. A music lover with a beautiful singing voice, Tricia sang for many years with the Choral Society of Greensboro and the WMSUMC choir. Her entertainment tastes ranged from choral music to Broadway musicals, and from Tina Turner to The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Tricia enjoyed travel, with destinations including Norway, Boston, Austin, Iowa City, Niagara Falls, and New York City. Her favorite trips were annual family gatherings in the mountains or at the ocean, and she held particular fondness for Holden Beach. An avid reader with a quick sense of humor, Tricia enjoyed puzzles, games, and wordplay. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Barbara Glenn of Austin, TX; her brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Liliana Glenn of Natick, MA; her brother and sister-in-law, Paul Glenn and Irene Jacobsen, of Norway; her stepmother and stepsister, Sigrid Glenn and Brittany Glenn, of Denton, TX; and nephews and nieces Kristin Glenn of Carbondale, IL, Christina Schartum of Norway, Richard Glenn of Norway, and Benjamin Glenn of Norway; and grand-niece Mathilde Schartum of Norway.
