Patricia Hughes Anderson, 83 passed away on 7 December 2023 in Greenville, SC. She was born in Chester, SC, the daughter of William M Hughes and Maggie Lou McAliley. Patricia’s brother William M Hughes Jr preceded her in 2019. She retired from Jefferson Pilot Life in Greensboro, NC, a job she dearly loved.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 61 years Robert Perry Anderson, 2 daughters Pam (Keith) and Amy (David), son Kevin (Amy) Anderson. Five grandchildren Justin, Ashleigh, Abigail, Eleanor and Matthew. Surviving sister, Mary M. Hughes of Columbia, SC.
Patricia was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Greenville, SC.
Burial was on 11 December 2023 at Westminster Gardens, Greensboro, NC.
Patricia enjoyed….reading and home decor/construction projects and best pound cake ever. 80 year old doll (Baby) joined her on this final journey with the $5 bet she won.
Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, Greensboro, NC assisted the Anderson family with arrangements.
